One of the most influential bands in the history of music, the British legends Judas Priest, have announced their spectacular return to Slovakia. As part of their new world tour, fittingly titled FAITHKEEPERS 2026, they will perform on 4 August 2026 at the TIPOS Arena in Bratislava.
There are few heavy metal bands that have reached the heights Judas Priest have achieved over their more than 50-year career. Inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, the band continues to maintain remarkable energy and relevance even after half a century on stage. This is evident not only from their highest-charting album to date, Firepower (2018), but also from the recent global success of their studio release Invincible Shield (2024) and their latest, fifth Grammy nomination (2025) for the song “Crown of Horns.”
The title FAITHKEEPERS 2026 is no coincidence. It reflects the loyalty of their fans and the band’s unwavering dedication to a genre they helped create. Formed in 1969 in Birmingham, Judas Priest have forever left their mark on the history of music — through both their sound and visual identity. It was they who, during the era of albums like Hell Bent for Leather, introduced the iconic leather-and-studs aesthetic to metal culture, a style that was soon embraced by metalheads around the world.
Slovak fans can look forward to a show filled with the band’s greatest hits that defined the 1980s — including Breaking the Law, Living After Midnight, and You’ve Got Another Thing Coming — as well as the uncompromising sonic assault of the Painkiller era.
